What the Raid Release Time Is in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris
Destiny 2’s first big expansion is finally here with Curse of Osiris, and eager players will be digging into the wealth of new content it brings, as well as exploring the surface of Mercury. Of course, the big question for many players is when they’ll be able to jump into the brand new raid coming with Curse of Osiris. The bad news is that the raid won’t be available on the day Curse of Osiris launches,
Dec. 5, but rather the Tuesday after on Dec. 12. Weekly resets take place every Tuesday in Destiny 2, although it should be noted that as of Dec. 5 the time for these will change slightly. The weekly reset will now take place at 5 PM GMT (or 9 AM PDT), so you’ll want to plan your activities in Destiny 2 accordingly.
Update: Bungie decided to buck the trend, and instead, the raid will release Dec. 8 instead at 10AM PT.
We don’t know a whole lot about Curse of Osiris’ raid as of yet, but it won’t be quite your standard experience. This time you’ll be getting something called a “Raid Lair,” that takes place within Leviathan. It won’t be as long as your typical raid and will be a different six-player activity from the main Leviathan content in Destiny 2. The lair will still contain a mix of new puzzles, enemies, challenges, and a final boss to undertake, so you’ll still want to get your best team together.
