Is Sydney Sweeney in The White Lotus Season 2? Answered

Here's what you need to know about Sydney Sweeney in The White Lotus season 2.

The White Lotus started as a limited mini-series on HBO, but given how well it was received, the show quickly got renewed for a second season. We’re getting a whole new cast of characters with this season, with the exception of Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya, who’s a recurring character. If you’re wondering whether Sydney Sweeney is in The White Lotus season 2 as well, here’s what you need to know.

Sydney Sweeney’s Role in White Lotus Season 2

It is extremely unlikely that we’ll see Sydney Sweeney reprise her role as Olivia Mossbacher in The White Lotus season 2. While the season has just started and there are still a few episodes to go, the premiere has done a good job of introducing all the key players, and Sweeney’s character is nowhere to be seen.

It makes sense as well, as she was the daughter of the privileged Mossbacher family in the first season, and that family went through a pretty complete development arc. Her friendship with Paula was repaired (kind of), and she seemed to reach some sort of fragile understanding with her parents as well.

Unless the Mossbacher family randomly shows up at the Sicilian branch this season, it’s very unlikely that we’ll see Olivia again. The White Lotus was also renewed as an anthological season, so it makes sense that we’d be largely dealing with a whole new cast of people.

That’s all you need to know about whether Sydney Sweeney is in The White Lotus season 2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more news and information on the show, including a list of all Survivor players who have appeared in these two seasons.
