One of the highlights of Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the addition of Mouthful mode, our hero’s latest ability that allows Kirby to utilize different abilities by holding certain objects in his mouth. There are several races in the level, but to beat the first race in 20 seconds for that elusive hidden side objective, here is what you need to keep in mind.

  1. Familiarize yourself with the controls.

    Boost with B, jump with A.

  2. Inhale the car, and start the race.

  3. Take shortcuts.

    This means staying tight to corners, avoiding enemies and obstacles, jumping over the smaller mud patches, and using tire stacks and ramps for longer jumps.

  4. Try an alternative solution.

    You can also use Kirby to clear all of the obstacles and enemies on the track first before starting the race, which will save you the trouble of avoiding them.
