Where to Find Church of Vows in Elden Ring (& What to Do There)

The Lands Between is absolutely full of churches, so it’s not easy to find a specific one across all of its regions. They’re just littered throughout the map, so we’re here to help with your search. Here’s where to find the Church of Vows in Elden Ring and what to do there.

Church of Vows Location in Elden Ring

The Chruch of Vows is located in Liurna of the Lakes, to the east of Raya Lucaria Academy. It’s found on a cliff, high up above the actual lake. Here’s the exact spot on the map that you need to go to:

You can reach the church by exiting the lake north of the academy, or you can simply stay out of the lake and circle it to the right after leaving Stormveil Castle. There’s also a portal inside the academy that leads straight to the church.

What to Do in the Chruch of Vows

There are two main reasons to visit the Church of Vows: speaking to Miriel, Pastor of Vows, or seeking absolution. Miriel is a giant tortoise who can teach both Incantations and Sorceries. He specializes in Sorceries but can also be given special books in order to add Incantations to his list of magic.

Seeking absolution by interacting with the statue at the back of the church will cause any NPCs that you’ve attacked to return to their normal state and remove aggro. It won’t revive any dead NPCs, though.

Elden Ring Church of Vows Absolution

To seek absolution, interact with the statue while in possession of Celestial Dew, and your sins will be forgiven, so to speak. The dew can be found in several places, including Raya Lucaria Academy, Nokstella, Nokron, and Caria Manor.
