The Batman Deleted Scene Offers a Deeper Look at the Joker’s History With the Caped Crusader

batman

The Batman has quickly proven to be one of the biggest box office hits of the year, and has also been praised as one of the best Batman movies we’ve seen so far. After ending things off on a bit of a cliffhanger, Warner Brothers has since released a new deleted scene for the movie, which you can check out for yourself down below:

The scene takes place in Arkham Asylum itself, and is a five-minute conversation between the Batman and the iconic Joker. From the looks of it, the scene was meant to play at the very end of the movie, but was cut out to trim things down.

That said, the scene does offer a lot of insight into the Joker’s history with this version of the Batman, as it’s become clear that the two have a lot of history and there’s plenty of backstory to uncover here. We already know that there’s an Arkham Asylum spinoff show in the works featuring the Joker, so it’ll be interesting to see how that unfolds.
