Elden Ring: How to Get Remembrance of the Grafted & What It Does

How to Get Remembrance of the Grafted

Just as in many of FromSoftware’s previous games, defeating a main boss not only rewards you with a huge amount of souls/runes to level up, but also a unique item. Of course, it’s not always especially clear what to do with that unique item. Here’s how to get Remembrance of the Grafted and what it does in Elden Ring.

How to Get Remembrance of the Grafted

Getting the Remembrance of the Grafted is straightforward in terms of instruction, but potentially challenging if you’re either under-leveled or struggled with boss fights. That’s because in order to get the item you must defeat the demi-god, Godrick the Grafted — see, the clue is in the name!

Godrick is found in Stormveil Castle, and beating him is no easy task. If you haven’t already, then he will likely prove your toughest enemy encounter up until this point. Luckily for you, Twinfinite has a detailed guide offering tips on how to beat him. You can check it out here.

What Remembrance of the Grafted Does

This Remembrance of the Grafted’s purpose is as an item that can be exchanged for one of two weapons. You will need to bring it to Enia the Finger Reader in Roundtable Hold — an NPC who will only become available after you have defeated Godrick. Her location is just right of the spawn point at Roundtable Hold, through a previously locked set of double doors that are now open.

Enia will trade for either the Axe of Godrick or the Grafted Dragon.

The Axe of Godrick is well-suited to those running a Strength build since it requires 34 Strength and 22 Dexterity to use. It inflicts only physical damage, but it does also offer the ‘I Command Thee, Kneel’ skill that is an AoE attack.

The Grafted Dragon, on the other hand, is a fist-type weapon that requires 20 Strength, 14 Dexterity, and 16 Faith to use. In addition to physical damage, it inflicts fire damage.

That should give you everything you need to know about how to get Remembrance of the Grafted and what it does in Elden Ring. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on the game.
