How to Get Poppy in Dying Light 2

Early on in the game, the NPCs will introduce players to the rooftops and more specifically, those with tall, yellow trees as sites of helpful materials. Once you are able to roam around freely, you should be able to see several of these rooftop groves scattered around The City.

Arriving at each of these spots, you will not just find a reliable source of Honey, Chamomile, Feathers, Resin, and Lavender, but there will oftentimes be other rarer materials, such as Poppy. You are also able to obtain Cordyceps at certain spots as well.

How to Gather and Use Poppy

  1. Locate rooftop groves using the signature yellow tall trees.

  2. Gather Poppy, which is a red plant, by pressing the square button when standing near it.

  3. Utilize Poppy and other materials like Honey, Chamomile, and more to help craft useful items such as a Regeneration Booster.

It is also likely that you will need to progress a certain degree into the main story before you start seeing poppy spawning in Dying Light 2. Just keep an eye out at the rooftop groves, and you should be well-stocked in no time.
