How to Capture FOBs & Why You Should in Halo Infinite

Capturing FOBs is pretty straightforward. All you need to do is eliminate all the enemies at the location and activate the plinth on the FOBs platform. Once you’ve done that, the base is conquered and you’ll have access to its perks. Typically, you’ll have a couple of glowing enemies to take out, some Brutes, and a bunch of Covenant. The time to beat one varies depending on the difficulty of the FOB.

So, what are they exactly? Well, in addition to earning Valor, capturing a FOB reveals key Banished structures, High-Value Targets, and local UNSC Forces. You can also call in vehicles and customize loadouts, and they serve as a rallying point for UNSC Marines who can then accompany the Master Chief on missions and provide support.

That’s everything there is to know about how to capture FOBs and why you should in Halo Infinite. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out our guide wiki. You should also see some related content below that may prove helpful.
