Designing homes for NPCs like Marlo and Eloise is nice and all, but if you’ve ever wanted to design a home for major characters like Celeste and Tom Nook, you can do that as well.
You’ll first need to complete at least 20 jobs for your clients, and this will trigger a cutscene in Lottie’s office where you’ll get yet another promotion and unlock VIP clients. To actually get the VIP clients to the archipelago, however, you’ll need their corresponding Amiibo figures or cards.
Scanning Amiibo in Happy Home Paradise is easy. To do so, head over to Lottie’s office and walk over to the machine in a green tray with the Amiibo symbol on the end of her desk. Place the Amiibo card (or figure if you have one) on the NFC touch spot on your Switch or Pro Controller.
Once the scan has been successfully completed, you’ll get in a message from your villager who will convey their excitement that you are planning to build them a vacation home. Now all you need to do is begin designing it as you typically would after having invited a villager.
