Getting Faction Tokens in New World

Faction tokens are a form of currency you can get in New World, and as the name suggests, they’re obtained by doing activities related to your faction of choice. By playing through the main story quests, you’ll eventually have to choose the faction you want to align with. Once you’ve done so, you can speak with the faction NPC in each settlement to do faction quests.

There are PvE and PvP quests, and in general, the PvP quests will award more experience and tokens, but they’re both completely viable ways for leveling up. The quest screen will show you how much experience and how many tokens you can earn from them, so make sure to pick these quests up whenever you’re in a hamlet.

After completing the objectives, speak with the faction NPC again to turn in the quest, and you’ll get your rewards.

How to Use Them

Faction tokens can be used to purchase items from the faction store. Speak with your faction NPC and browse the store, and you’ll see tons of gear, items, and even crafting components available for sale. These will require you to spend your tokens and some gold, but they’re usually worth the asking price.

While you can get better gear by questing, some of the store items are unique, such as the Major Rune of Holding which can’t be obtained anywhere else.

That’s all you need to know about how to get faction tokens and what they’re uesd for in New World. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
