As you can see from the tables below, revenue grew 29% year-on-year. On the other hand, net profit decreased -28% year-on-year, mostly due to the costs of continuing to update Cyberpunk 2077.

During the conference call, we heard from CEO Adam Kiciński that work on Cyberpunk 2077 (which recently received update 1.3) will continue for as long as possible in order to deliver what was promised to gamers and regain their trust.

The studio is fully committed to ensuring that Cyberpunk 2077 lives up to its full potential and becomes a long-term success.

At the moment, about 150 developers are dedicated to working on the first expansion of the game (which will be the next AAA-level content from the developer), while nearly 70 are now working on other projects. You can see how the distribution of the studio’s development workforce changed over the past six months.

The “other projects” category includes yet unannounced AAA games.

The next-gen updates to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 are slated for “late 2021” but given the natural uncertainties of the development process, the possibility of changes to that schedule can’t be excluded.

Below you can watch the full conference and a summary of the financial results.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
