The Shin Megami Tensei series is best known for spawning the mega popular sub-series, Persona. However, SMT is definitely worth a look as well, as it offers a vastly different experience from Persona. It’s also a much tougher series to get into, and Nocturne isn’t any different. Because of that, you’ll probably want to record your progress from time to time so you don’t accidentally lose everything in one fell swoop. Here’s how to save your game in SMT Nocturne HD.
Saving Your Game in SMT Nocturne HD
SMT Nocturne employs a pretty standard save feature; if you can find a save point in the game world, you’ll be able to record your progress and quit out of the game without having to worry about losing anything. In the case of Nocturne, you’ll be looking out for rooms that house a large silver cylinder.
Once you find one, it’ll always be indicated on your map so you can go back to save whenever you need to. Simply interact with it, choose a save slot, record your progress, and you’re good to go.
In the HD Remaster version of the game, there’s also a brand new suspend feature that’s a lot more useful for those playing on PS4 or PC. If you have to quit out of the game quickly but aren’t near a save point, simply bring up the main menu and select the Suspend option.
This will allow you to quit out of the game and whenever you’re ready to jump back into it, you can start from wherever you suspended in the first place. This feature is a lot less useful on Switch, as you can just put the console into sleep mode and resume quickly later, but it’s still a nice thing to take note of.
That’s all you need to know about how to save your game in SMT Nocturne HD. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
