EA has just released the trailer for their upcoming game pack, Dream Home Decorator. This comes after their recently proposed roadmap of releases for next few months, where they mentioned a new kit, a new game pack, and a new expansion pack. It seems that The Sims 4’s Dream Home Decorator will be the new game pack mentioned, and we’re ready to cover all of the trailer’s highlights and what is known so far.

The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator will be offering a brand new career for your Sims where they can visit other Sims’ homes and hear about their interior decoration dreams. Your Sim can then take over and give them whatever they asked for, within budget of course (it seems that their will be a possible performance loss if they go over the budget given to them).

Your Sims will be tasked with fixing decor disasters, making use of new furniture and colors from the game pack to give rooms a fresh new look. Clients will let your Sims know what they like and what they don’t like, leaving you to come up with a suitable layout that suits their interests.

Alongside the normal performance bar your Sims have in every career, this new interior designer one will come with a reputation meter that they have to keep up. Making sure clients’ needs and wants are met, as well as staying within the budget given, will boost your Sims’ career reputations and keep them going as a good interior designer. Your Sims interactions will all matter as they move up the ladder.

New Build and Buy mode options have been added, including furniture that seems quite modern and many colorful options. Create-A-Sim will also be updated with new clothing options to go along with the game pack, presenting vibrant outfits for your Sims.

The Sims 4 Dream Home Decorator will be available on June 1, so be sure to go give it a look if you’re interested in having your Sims become top-tier home designers. If you want some fun fan-created addtions to your game right now, have a look at last month’s best mods here!
