Ubisoft has been steady in its support of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla since the game launched last year, with all sorts of free content drops and seasonal events adding new things to see and do across its glorious rendition of ancient Britain. This month, though, marks the arrival of Valhalla’s first paid expansion, taking players to the lush countryside of Ireland. Here’s how to start Wrath of the Druids DLC in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
How to Start Wrath of the Druids DLC in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Given that Wrath of the Druids is a paid expansion, your first port of call should obviously be to buy it. If you’re a season pass holder, that’s all taken care of. For everyone else, the purchase can be made via the in-game storefront, or by accessing the “add-on” content for the game from your client’s launcher. You can also search for it via storefronts such as PlayStation’s and Xbox’s.
We have heard that some season pass holder have been struggling to access Wrath of the Druids, and it’s an issue Ubisoft is aware of. According to the Twitter thread linked below, the issue has been fixed.
We are aware of the issues Season Pass holders are experiencing with access to the Wrath of the Druids DLC and are currently investigating.
Our apologies for the delay and any inconvenience caused. We will update you on this issue as soon as possible. #AssassinsCreedValhalla

After installing Wrath of the Druids, all you need to do is boot your save and then head to Ravensthorpe. When you arrive, you’ll hear the sound of a horn and the arrival of a visitor. At the docks is a merchant envoy named Azar who explains that a letter from Ireland has invited Eivor to meet with an Irish King there.
Azar also explains her intentions to create a trading post at Ravensthorpe, but that in order to trade you need to clear a naval blockade that is currently blocking the mouth of the river. This is an introductory mission that takes around 20 minutes to complete, after which the DLC will start properly and your adventure to Ireland will be underway.
What Level Wrath of the Druids DLC Requires
Ubisoft has designed Wrath of the Druids’ level requirement to scale to the player’s level. Our 80 hour + review save recommended a power level of around 230 to start Wrath of the Druids.
However, if you have just started a playthrough of Valhalla then there’s no need to worry since it will scale down accordingly. The minimum requirement is level 55, so you should only need to have completed the first storyline or two within Valhalla’s main plot to visit Ireland.
That should be everything you need to know about Wrath of the Druids DLC in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. For more useful tips on the game, check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki.
