What Is Stamina?

Your Stamina is used to perform everyday activities in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, such as watering, chopping down trees, mining for ores, or harvesting your plants.

Your Stamina is indicated by the hearts in the top left-hand corner of the screen. When you perform an action, you’ll slowly chip away at the amount of hearts you have.

If you run out of Stamina entirely and drain your hearts, you’ll pass out and wake up the next day. As such, you’ll want to increase your max Stamina in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town so you can do more each and every day.

Increasing Max Stamina in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town

The main way to increase your max stamina is to visit the Shrine at the top of Olive Town once you’ve revealed the true identity of the Lady Spirit, which occurred during the middle of Summer, Year 1 for us.

The Spirit will make it clear that you’ve unlocked the ability to purchase blessings from the Shrine north of Olive Town itself, by the tree.

Walk over to the Shrine and press A to interact with it. You’ll now be able to spend your Sprite Points to unlock various buffs and abilities. One of these is the ability to ‘Increase Max Stamina’ and costs 20.

Once this has been purchased, you’ll then be able to increase it further by selecting the Blessing pertaining to further increasing your max stamina. These do go up in price each time, but you’ll rack up enough Sprite Points that you should be able to buy a couple when you first unlock it.

Each upgrade you buy for your max stamina will add a couple more hearts to your maximum amount.

Restoring Stamina

Sleeping will restore most of your stamina hearts in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, but then you’ll be pushed into the next day.

If you’ve still got things to do about your farm for that day, you’ve got two options. You can either consume food by cooking it yourself, or visiting the Bistro or Hotel Restaurant and buying yourself some meals. The more you eat, the more hearts you’ll restore.

If you buy a salad, you’ll temporarily increase the number of stamina hearts by one. This will disappear after a day, though.

Alternatively, you can take a bath once you’ve bought the wooden lodge as your house. This takes up 30 minutes of in-game time and recovers a few hearts of stamina.
