Genshin Impact is easily one of the most popular free-to-play gacha games on the market right now, thanks in no small part to MiHoYo consistently updating the game with new events to take part in. The latest event, titled Vishaps and Where to Find Them, is now live in the game, and provides players with tons of attractive rewards. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Start ‘Vishaps & Where to Find Them’ in Genshin Impact
First off, check your journal to find the new quest at the bottom of your list. As long as you’ve reached Adventure Rank 20 or above, you’ll be eligible for the quest.
After that, head over to the Adventurers’ Guild in Liyue Harbor and talk to Katherine. She’ll inform you that dangerous Vishaps have started popping up all over the land. She’ll then ask you to dispatch teams on expeditions to go investigate what’s going on.
This new event is very similar to the daily expeditions that you get to send your characters on in Liyue and Mondstadt, except this time, the rewards are much more attractive. You can gain tons of Mora, Hero’s Wits, primogems, and other ascension materials.
The only thing to note is that some of the expeditions have bonus rewards as well, and you only have a percentage chance of getting that bonus depending on who you send. From what we’ve seen so far, sending characters from Liyue seems to provide you with a higher chance of getting that bonus.
Each day, you’ll be able to take on four expeditions, so as long as you have enough characters to do so, make sure to max this out to get as many rewards as possible.
‘Vishaps & Where to Find Them’ Bonus Reward Chance
As mentioned previously, the more characters you send on an expedition (and if they’re from Liyue), the higher your chances are of getting the bonus reward. To make things easier, however, you can also choose a character from any player on your friends list to increase that chance.
For each expedition you embark on, you can also send out one character from your friends list to help increase the bonus chance. Pair that up with another two of your own characters, and you can easily get the bonus chance up to 90% or above to guarantee your reward.
This system basically encourages players to befriend more people in Genshin Impact so that everyone has a better chance of getting those rewards.
The event will run till March 12, 4 a.m. server time, so make sure to get in as many expeditions as possible.
