What the Max Level Cap Is in Bravely Default 2

Just like most other classic JRPGs, the max level cap for Bravely Default 2 is level 99. However, character level progression is actually pretty slow in this game, so it’ll definitely take you quite a bit of time to hit that level cap.

In fact, it’s possible to beat the entire game without hitting the cap, though you can speed up the leveling process by increasing battle speed while grinding encounters, or using Experience Orbs that you get from exploration or boat expeditions.

On the other hand, jobs have a much lower level cap. For the first two thirds of the game, your job level cap is set at 12. Just like character levels, you can level it up quickly with JP Orbs or just grinding combat encounters.

However, once you reach chapter 6 in Bravelyt Default 2, the game will notify you that the Freelancer job level cap has been raised to 15. From this point on, you can go back to exploring the open-world to find portals that will let you attempt a boss battle in order to increase the level cap to 15 for your other jobs.

This isn’t necessarily mandatory, but it does unlock more abilities that will make the endgame battles a lot easier if you use them right.

That’s all you need to know about what the max level cap is in Bravely Default 2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
