What It Can Be Used For
To cut right to the chase, the money dropped by every enemy you defeat is used to upgrade your character’s stats and buy healing items in Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition.
Scattered throughout the game’s stages are shops which sell a variety of goods. Some are easy to find, while others take some careful observation of the environment to find.
Restaurants sell both healing items that can be used to restore your health and Guts Points, and items that permanently increase your stats on top of healing you; the book and CD stores sell items that can give you huge stat increases for a higher price tag; and Wallace’s Secret Shop offers items that can revive your character to full health in a pinch or grant you an extra life.

Where the Best Places to Grind Are
The game gives you a generous amount of cash to buy these items with if you’re playing through every level, so you shouldn’t have much of a problem upgrading your characters regularly. However, if you want to max out your characters’ stats fast in Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition, you’ll need to grind up a ton of money, which can take a while if you’re just replaying the story.
Fortunately, there are a few specific areas where you can grind up money quickly; namely, those found in the first level.
In addition to having enemies which drop a modest amount of money for you to gather, the first level has two Subspace Highway entrances – one of which is mandatory to enter to reach the level’s boss, and one which is hidden about halfway through. These lead to parts of the level where you can defeat Flying Pig enemies for large sums of money, as well as attack coin blocks for additional funds.
We’ve included screenshots of both these entrances to give you a better idea of where they’re at. Note that each is denoted by a star either near it or on it. Once you find them, simply head inside and bash away at the enemies and coin blocks. Rinse and repeat a few times, and you’ll then have more than enough money to buy every item you could possibly want.
