There are a couple options available to you if you want to level up fast in Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition.
One is to purchase items from the game’s shops. Scattered throughout each stage, there are shops which sell items that can restore your health, increase your stats and net you a bundle of experience. The more expensive the item, the more you’ll gain from it, so keep an eye out for the pricier items and purchase them first and foremost.
The other method is to play through the game’s levels which contain the most enemies and defeat all of said enemies found in them. Each foe you battle and defeat will net you experience, with stronger enemies getting you more experience. As such, ensuring you defeat each one you encounter will help you level up that much faster.
In particular, you’ll want to play through and replay level 3 – which contains a glut of enemies you can defeat on top of its bosses – and level 5, which has a high number of powerful enemies you can get tons of experience from defeating.
After a few run-throughs, you should have more than enough experience to reach a high level, if not the level cap of 16.
Does Experience Carry Over Between Characters?
However, it’s worth noting that doing this as one of any of Scott Pilgrim The Game Complete Edition’s characters won’t mean all of them have been leveled up.
Each character levels up independently from the others. As such, you’ll need to re-buy items and grind through enemies again if you want to level up each character to their maximum level.
