Hitman 3‘s final mission isn’t what you might expect. Rather than a sprawling open sandbox, you have to choose how to make your way through a long and heavily guarded train, scaling the side and changing disguise frequently. At the end, there’s actually a secret ending you can unlock. So that you can complete it, here’s everything you need to know about the Hitman 3 A New Father Challenge and how to unlock the secret ending of Hitman 3.
The standard ending of Hitman 3 sees you confront Arthur Edwards, The Constant, and you get the chance to inject him with a serum that sees him get trapped in his own mind, removing him from his position of power. However, you’re not forced to do it.
Hitman 3 A New Father Challenge (Secret Ending)
When you reach the end of the final level, in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania, you’ll be able to pick up the serum from the case.
What you want to do to complete the Hitman 3 A New Father Challenge and see the secret ending is not inject Edwards with it. Just stand there with the serum in your hands (not put away) for a whole minute.
At that point, Edwards will make a comment, asking if you’ve had a change of heart and you’ll see the prompt appear that lets you inject yourself with the serum.
If you do, the screen will go black and Agent 47 will wake up in a solitary room, seemingly lost in his own head too. It’s not quite the triumphant end to the trilogy that we all wanted.
Once you do it, the New Father Challenge XP reward will be granted and you’ll unlock a trophy/achievement called ’47 Took Another Nap.’
