Luckily, you the game allows you to steal virtually any vehicle if you’re in need of a ride so long as you meet the level requirement. But if you’re wondering how to save cars in Cyberpunk 2077 so they’re always only a button press away, here’s what you need to know.

How to Save Cars in Cyberpunk 2077

Unlike in other open-world games like Grand Theft Auto V, you can’t actually “save” a car that you’ve stolen in Cyberpunk 2077. There’s no equivalent of driving a car or motorcycle into a garage that keeps it there permanently.

V does actually have a parking space underneath his apartment, but only cars that you have purchased are ones that you’ll be able to save and continually use. Those, and one or two others that receive as part of various story missions, such as Delemain’s Taxi, and Jackie’s motorcycle.

Any cars or bikes you steal are only yours while you drive them and will disappear after abandoning them.

In terms of how you acquire new cars, as we’ve explained in our more detailed guide on how to get cars in Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll frequently be sent information from local fixers about new cars to purchase throughout your playthrough.

These saved cars are listed under “Rides” in your journal, and all you need to do to buy them is visit the location they’re being kept at and pay the money.

Once you’ve purchased them, they can then be called at any time by pressing right on the d-pad (console) or V (PC), and they’ll drive themselves to your location automatically.
