You’re going to play as an absolute ton of characters as you progress through Watch Dogs Legion’s story. Any NPC you encounter on the street can be recruited to DedSec and then used in missions. Each NPC ‘type’ has their own unique backstory and abilities you can use to your advantage. With so many random characters to recruit, some players may be wondering whether it’s possible to create your own character in Watch Dogs Legion.
Can You Create Your Own Character in Watch Dogs Legion?
No, you cannot create your own character in Watch Dogs Legion. Instead, players will assume control of a veritable cast of NPCs and residents of London. The campaign kicks things off with you assuming control of a preset DedSec member whos appearance cannot be significantly altered throughout a character creation screen of sorts.
Instead, players are able to customize the look of their playable characters with various cosmetic items, but any facial/ physical traits cannot be altered.
The same can be said for any of the NPCs you recruit that are wandering the streets of London. They’ll keep the same look that they have when you find them at the beginning of the game and cannot be changed at all.
It’s also worth pointing out that Ubisoft has added the very first Watch Dogs’ protagonist, Aiden Pearce, into Legion’s vast swathe of recruitable characters.
That’s everything you need to know on whether or not you can create your own character in Watch Dogs Legion. Head over to our guide wiki, search for Twinfinite or check out more of our coverage below if you’re after more handy tips and tricks.
