Fortnite Sharky Shell Location

The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 week 9 challenges have been leaked, and players know what to expect when they go live tomorrow, Thursday, October 22 at 9 am ET. One of the challenges tasks players to “Land at Sharky Shell and finish Top 25.” This is a pretty straightforward challenge, but if you don’t know where the Fortnite Sharky Shell location is, you’re going to fall at the first hurdle.

Where to Find Sharky Shell in Fortnite

Sharky Shell can be found in B1 on Fortnite’s map.

Sharky Shell can be found in grid reference B1, just north of Coral Castle itself. It’s the same island that was also known as ‘The Shark’ when it was introduced back in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 2.

Since the release of this season, Sharky Shell has become more and more forgotten about by players, making it a less frequently visited landing location. The fact that it’s right on the edge of the map also doesn’t make it ideal, as you could find yourself traveling over to the other side of the map to reach the storm circle.

How to Land at Sharky Shell & Finish Top 25

The week 9 challenge requires players to land at Sharky Shell and then finish in the top 25 players in that match.

The best way to complete this challenge is to land at Sharky Shell and then wait for the storm circle to appear on your map. You’ll want to stick to the outskirts of the storm circle and avoid areas with heavy footfall-like named locations or Quinjet Landing Sites.

If you manage to find a building in the middle of nowhere in the storm circle, simply hide in here and wait until there are fewer than 25 players left.

That’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Sharky Shell location and how to complete the week 9 challenge. For more tips, tricks, and guides, head on over to our guide wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
