First things first, it’s important to know exactly what Timed Finishing actually is. By pressing the shoot button twice, it allows you to get more power and accuracy from your shots.

It can be combined with any kind of shot, whether that be a chip, finesse, or standard one, but you only have a short window to get it right and pull off a green timed finesse shot. If you’re used to spamming the shoot button to ensure you get your foot on the ball, you’re going to want to turn the option off. Thankfully, you can.
