The iconic hangar level is the first in the second game in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater package. It’s a small setting with two main areas separated by a glass wall that you can smash. Just looking around, it’s impossible to spot the secret tape.

What you need to do is unlock the secret room. To do that, you need to head into the second room by smashing through the glass barrier in the middle and then grind across the rotary blades of the helicopter.
Jump up the ramp by the side of it and then press triangle if you’re on PS4 (Y on Xbox One) to grind. Then, once you’re off it, the helicopter will take off and smash the glass roof.
What that does is open up a wall to the outside (the one by the barrels on the left-hand wall of the hangar) and you can skate out of it.
At the end of that area, you’ll see a large vertical ramp with the hangar secret tape at the top of it. Skate up to grab it and the challenge will be complete.
You’ll then be safe to either try and rack up score in this area or focus on other tasks on the hangar level checklist.
