For those undertaking the Starktech Outfits quest, which is one of the very last missions in the Avengers’ campaign, Energy Amplifiers are one of three different resources required.

Luckily, they’re pretty simple to locate. All you need to do is take on any mission that features Prime Synthoids, destroy them, then harvest the Energy Amplifiers they drop.

As you can see in the above image, Prime Sythoids are the larger variety of robots, and they typically wield a two-handed charge rod weapon. They do actually appear slightly different in some instances, with some donning other pieces of equipment, but you can usually tell them apart as the bulkier-looking synths.

In any case, all you need to do is bash them and pick up the loot. Pretty simple, really.

As for its application outside of this specific mission, there’s nothing you can do with Energy Amplifiers. They aren’t used for any sort of upgrade as you would with Nanites, Plasma, and other resources.
