How to Use Your Secondary Weapon in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning

To use your Secondary Weapon in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, all you need to do is press the Triangle Button on PlayStation 4 or the Y Button on the Xbox One.

This will automatically equip your Secondary Weapon and trigger its attack. For example, if you have a bow equipped, pressing the button will let an arrow fly at either the closest target or in the direction your character is currently facing.

You can also charge up certain weapons’ attacks by holding down the button for a bit before releasing it. Doing so will increase the damage it deals once you let it loose on your enemies, but it also leaves you vulnerable to enemy attacks while it’s being charged up.

What the Best Secondary Weapons Are

As for what Secondary Weapons are in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, it depends on what your playstyle is like and where you need to cover weaknesses in it.

If you’re the type to charge right in against enemies with hammers and other high-damage melee weapons as your Primary, then a bow or ranged weapon could help you attack foes keeping their range from you. Likewise, if you typically use a bow or chakrams in your Primary Weapon slot, then having a sword or daggers in your Secondary slot will ensure you aren’t doomed should an opponent get too close.

That’s everything there is to know about how to use your Secondary Weapons in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning. For more on the game, check out our guides on other topics like how to change Destinies and how to sprint.
