Diseases can hobble even the strongest characters in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, and few are as difficult to work around as the Blood Plague. Should you contract this illness, you’ll want to cure it as soon as possible, which is why we’re here to walk you through how to cure Blood Plague in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning.
How to Cure Blood Plague in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning
Like with most any other disease in the game, curing Blood Plague in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning is done by using a Purification Potion or speaking to a healer in one of the game’s major cities.
For the first method, there are a few different ways to nab such a curative. One is to travel to Gorhart Village and purchase a Purification Potion from Nanne Hanri, the owner of the Alchemy Shop. She’ll sell you Purification Potions for 386 Gold a pop, and will renew her supply should you contract the disease again.
On the other hand, if you wish to save some gold, you can travel to the Star Camp and speak with the trader Hidon. He’ll sell you a recipe for Purification Potions, which you can then make so long as you have the necessary resources and Alchemy skill.
It’s worth noting that Purification Potions also heal any other non-magical illness or debuff applied to your character. This makes them useful for clearing out any other negative effects you might be suffering while away from a major town.
Where You Can Find Healers
As for curing your Blood Plague via healers in Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, it’s one of the more readily available methods for curing diseases in the game.
In almost every major city, settlement or roadside inn in the game, you can find healers that will remove diseases, curses and other debuffs from your character. However, it’s worth noting that the cost of their services will vary based on factors like the severity of the affliction, which healer you’re speaking to and so on, so using this method can get costly fast.
