How to Revive in Genshin Impact

Reviving another character in Genshin Impact requires a specific food recipe; namely, a Tevyat Fried Egg. To get one, you’ll have to collect Bird Eggs and then find a cooking location and throwing one on the pan.

Like most recipes in Genshin Impact, cooking a Fried Egg is super simple. You just have to complete the little mini-game to cook it correctly (stop the swinging action within the indicated zone). If you need a cooking location, just head Lynn the Adventurer right outside Mondstadt.

In terms of using the item, when a character dies in combat or as a result of fall damage, you’ll be prompted to use a Tevyat Fried Egg to revive them. The egg can actually be cooked to various standards, with Delicious Tevyat Fried Eggs healing for 150hp, while a stand one heals for 100.

Given that they’re quite literally a life-saver, make sure you go and forage some Bird Eggs and fry them up! Particularly, before heading into a Temple or quest activity that you think is likely to feature some difficult combat encounters.
