The European domestic seasons are well underway and FIFA 21 is out next week, which means it is time for the first Team of the Week of the game cycle. In case you’re after some team upgrades to start your Ultimate Team grind, here are our FIFA 21 Team of the Week 1 (TOTW 1) predictions.
How to Get FIFA 21 Team of the Week 1 Players (TOTW 1)
- Open Packs
Team of the Week players can be found in any gold pack. While they’re rare nowadays, silver and bronze TOTW players can also be found in packs of their respective rarites.
- Buy Them From the Transfer Market
All TOTW players can be purchased from the transfer market. Most tend to be around the 15-20k mark, unless they’re upgraded versions of already popular players.
FIFA 21 Team of the Week 1 (TOTW 1) Predictions
- Oliver Baumann – GK – Hoffenheim – 84 OVR – Hoffenheim shocked Bayern by winning 4-1 and they have their goalkeeper to thank for keeping the margin to three.
- Jesus Corona – RB – Porto – 86 OVR – The defender/winger hybrid played a huge role for Porto again, scoring once and assisting another.
- Ruben Dias – CB – Benfica – 84 OVR – The soon to be Manchester City defender scored in his final appearance for the Portuguese team.
- Sergio Ramos – CB – Real Madrid – 90 OVR – The ever present Spanish CB scored for Real again this weekend in their 3-2 win over Betis.
- Andres Iniesta – CM – Vissel Kobe – 84 OVR – The veteran Spaniard scored once and assisted another in his side’s 4-3 win.
- Jordan Veretout – CM – Roma – 82 OVR – The french midfielder scored twice for Roma in their game against Juventus.
- Alejandro Gomez – CAM – Atalanta – 87 OVR – The little Argentine scored once and assisted two more for Atalanta this weekend.
- Hirving Lozano – RW – Napoli – 83 OVR – The Mexican winger scored twice in Napoli’s 6-0 win this weekend.
- Luis Suarez – ST – Atletico Madrid – 88 OVR – Following his move to Madrid last week, Suarez scored twice and assisted another in his debut.
- Jamie Vardy – ST – Leicester City – 86 OVR – Continuing a mad start to the Premier League season, Vardy scored a hat-trick in the Foxes’ 5-2 away win over Manchester City.
- Wissam Ben Yedder – ST – Monaco – 86 OVR – Yes, the one thing no-one wanted is happening. After two goals this weekend, Ben Yedder will make TOTW 1 and probably terrorise players throughout FIFA 21, just as he did last year.
When Does Team of the Week 1 Go Live in FIFA 21?
The full team will be revealed via EA Sports’ Twitter account at 10 am ET on Wednesday, and the players will be released into packs at 1 pm the same day.
