Unaspected Crystals can be used to craft items that give your Free Company helpful boosts to make the leveling process go faster, or reduce gear wear and teleportation costs. They won’t serve much purpose if you’re not in an FC, but if you’re in one, you’ll definitely want to consider farming these.
The good news is that Unaspected Crystals are actually pretty easy to get in FFXIV, though you do need to know where to look.
To give a brief summary, you can only obtain Unaspected Crystals with a level 50 gatherer in the A Realm Reborn areas. Every unspoiled node in ARR (the special nodes that only show up during specific hours) will give you a chance of obtaining an Unaspected Crystal in a random slot. However, the unspoiled node in Mor Dhona will always give you one Crystal in its final slot. So if you’re looking to farm it reliably, you’ll want to check the Mor Dhona node whenever it’s available.
The node itself is located in the North Silvertear location in Mor Dhona, at the coordinates X:1, Y:8. It’ll be available at 1 p.m., 5 p.m., and 9 p.m. Eorzea Time. Make sure to hit the bottommost slot to get your Crystal.
