One is to kill Loader Bots in the central section of the Benediction of Pain area. Stronger bots have a higher chance of dropping the shield, so keep an eye out for Badasses and Bots which have been buffed with a particular element.
The other is to farm drops from the expansion’s final boss, the Psychoreaver. Once defeated, he has a chance of dropping Legendary guns and gear, which includes the Plus Ultra Legendary Shield.
He has a higher chance of Legendary drops than basic enemies too, so this method is arguable the fastest option so long as you’re armed well enough to take him down quickly.

In addition to an absurdly fast recharge rate, it also boasts a 25 percent chance to absorb incoming fire and convert it toward your own ammo stores. Not only that, but when this effect triggers, it will also boost the cooldown rate of your action skill by 30 percent.
