If you’re feeling particularly flamboyant during one of your bouts in Battletoads, you can always use the Taunt option. There simply as a way to show off, players can use a Taunt to annoy their enemy by performing a quick little animation. In this guide, we’ll be talking you through how to taunt in Battletoads.
Taunting in Battletoads
To perform this action, simply press the right analog stick in any direction. Doing so will cause your Battletoad to pull off a quick taunt animation, with the action they do varying depending on the direction you move the analog stick.
It’s also worth pointing out that the taunts you can perform will change depending on the character you’ve chosen to control. Be sure to try every character and use the taunt option to find your favorite.
Outside of that, there’s not really a whole lot else you need to know on how to taunt in Battletoads. Simply let the taunt animation — and then your combat skills — do the talking and you’ll be all good.
Can You Get More Taunts?
At this moment in time, it remains to be seen whether or not Rare will opt to add more taunts for the Battletoads to use in the various scenarios they find themselves in throughout the game.
While it’s possible that Rare could add more taunts in the game with a future update, nothing has been announced by the developer. Considering taunts have no real impact on the gameplay, we wouldn’t get our hopes up for any more to make their way into the game.
