The good news is you don’t have to do anything special to start this new career path. All you have to do is use either your Sim’s phone or the computer and select the ‘Find a Job’ option.
You’ll then be given a list of all career paths that are available to your Sim. Simply select the Civil Designer career and you’ll be on your way to your Sims’ dream job.

You’ll need to become a Civil Designer and also reach level 10 in it if you want to complete all three Milestone of the Eco Innovator aspiration that’s new as part of the Eco Lifestyle expansion.
By completing all three of the Eco Innovator aspiration milestones, your Sim will be rewarded with 2,100 Satisfaction, and will also be given the Influential Individual trait.
