As is the case with almost all of the Sims 4 mainline expansion packs, the latest — Eco Lifestyle — brings two new careers for your Sims to embark on. One of these is the Civil Designer career, allowing your Sim to really get to the heart of community planning and environmentally conscientious decision-making. Here’s how to start the Civil Designer career in Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle.
How to Start the Civil Designer Career
The good news is you don’t have to do anything special to start this new career path. All you have to do is use either your Sim’s phone or the computer and select the ‘Find a Job’ option.
You’ll then be given a list of all career paths that are available to your Sim. Simply select the Civil Designer career and you’ll be on your way to your Sims’ dream job.
As is the case with all other jobs in the Sims 4, it is possible to get promoted and ‘level up’ the Civil Designer career. This is done over time as your Sim completes daily tasks and by ticking off the promotion tasks for your chosen career path.
You’ll need to become a Civil Designer and also reach level 10 in it if you want to complete all three Milestone of the Eco Innovator aspiration that’s new as part of the Eco Lifestyle expansion.
By completing all three of the Eco Innovator aspiration milestones, your Sim will be rewarded with 2,100 Satisfaction, and will also be given the Influential Individual trait.
The Influential Individual trait means your Sim will be listened to by other Sims. They can influence neighbors easily to support or attack a particular Sim or cause.
