If you’ve only just finished your first playthrough of Minecraft Dungeons on the ‘Default’ difficulty, then you’ve still got a fair bit of grinding to go if you want to truly complete the game.

Upon defeating the Arch-Illager on ‘Default’ difficulty, players will then unlock the ‘Adventure’ and ‘Apocalypse’ difficulties. This not only makes enemies deal more damage and soak it up more effectively, but you’ll also be taking on more of them.

To reward you for taking on the tougher challenge, you’ll also have the chance of netting previously unattainable gear and artifacts. These will also be of a higher level than you’ll get them dropping on ‘Default.’
