Persona 5 Royal is a re-release of the original Persona 5 on PS3 and PS4 back in 2017, and it comes packed with new story content, along with two new characters for players to interact with. Here’s how to romance Kasumi Yoshizawa for the Faith Confidant in Persona 5 Royal.
Romancing Kasumi in Persona 5 Royal
Do be warned that this guide contains some minor spoilers for the new story content of Persona 5 Royal, so look away if you want to go in completely fresh.
Right from the very start of the game, after the Inokashira Park story event, you’ll be able to start the Faith Confidant storyline with Kasumi. However, the Confidant only maxes out at rank 5, and you won’t be able to go any further.
To continue the story and try to romance Kasumi, you’ll need to hit that rank 5 cap with her, as well as the rank 10 cap with Takuto Maruku for the Councillor Confidant before the end of November. If you manage to do this, you’ll unlock a new dungeon at the end of the game, along with some extra free time you can spend with your other Confidants.
During this free time, the Faith Confidant will expand with five extra ranks for you to hit, so be sure to spend time with Kasumi at Kichijoji when you can. When you hit rank 9 with her, she’ll confess her feelings for the protagonist, and you can romance her by choosing the option that says “I love you.”
