Gambling and Playing Cards in Persona 5 Royal

When you unlock the Thieves’ Den after clearing the first dungeon, Kamoshida’s Castle, you’ll be able to explore it and participate in optional activities. This includes engaging in a game of Tycoon, which is a fun little card game you can play with three other party members.

Once in the Thieves’ Den, head over to the casino tables by the side and interact with it.

From here, you’ll be able to choose three levels of difficulty: casual, competitive, and cutthroat. Depending on which level you choose, the AI will be a lot more aggressive with the way they throw down their cards.

Tycoon is fairly easy to understand, and your goal here is to get rid of your cards before any other player. As the turns go by, you’ll need to play cards with a number higher than what the player before you put down. If everyone passes their turn, you’ll be able to set the pace for the next around with doubles and even triples, making it harder for the rest to follow you.

Playing cards with your teammates in Persona 5 Royal is a good way to pass the time (it doesn’t take up any in-game time) when you want a break from the story, and to earn some P-Medals to purchase new items for the Thieves’ Den.

To recap, here’s how to gamble and play cards in Persona 5 Royal:

  1. Unlock the Thieves’ Den.

  2. Interact with the casino table.

  3. Choose a difficulty level and start playing.

That’s all you need to know about how to gamble and play cards in Persona 5 Royal. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
