Just a couple years after the release of the original Persona 5, Atlus has launched a new and improved version of the game, dubbing it Persona 5 Royal. Along with new story additions, it also comes with gameplay and dungeon changes as well. Here’s where to use the Beefcake Book in Persona 5 Royal.
Beefcake Book in Persona 5 Royal
In the very first dungeon of the game, Kamoshida’s Castle, you’ll have to solve a few simple puzzles to keep progressing. One of the puzzles pops up in the mid-section of the castle, on the third floor of the East Building, where you collect several books and place them in their correct positions in the library to receive a key item.
The books needed for the puzzle are the King Book, the Queen Book, and the Slave Book. However, you’ll also come across the Beefcake Book in one of the smaller rooms near the safe room in this area.
While it isn’t required for progressing, you can gain an extra item for your effort if you know where to use it.
The Beefcake Book can be used at the bookshelf in the hallway right opposite the safe room, as indicated in the screenshot down below.
Interacting with the bookshelf and trying to use the Beefcake Book here will reward you with a Protein, which can come in handy during battle as it restores 30% HP to a single ally. Again, this is just an optional small reward, but it doesn’t require much effort at all, so it’s certainly worth going for before you move on to the next section of the Castle.
