Full Force Burst is one of the more interesting mechanics in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, but figuring out how and when to use it can lead to some serious headaches. That’s why we’re here to walk you through how to use Full Force Burst in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 and what it does with a detailed guide.
How to Use Full Force Burst in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 and What It Does
To clarify things as quickly as possible, Full Force Burst is a Special Attack in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 which boosts your character’s stats for a short period of time. It’s used by pressing and holding down R1 on PlayStation 4, RB on Xbox One or R on the Nintendo Switch, and then pressing the face button it’s assigned to.
We’ve listed the controls down below for your reference.
|PlayStation 4||R1 + X, O, Triangle or Square|
|Xbox One||RB + A, B, X or Y|
|Nintendo Switch||R + A, B, X or Y|
The type of boost your character gets depends on what type of character they are. For example, Power types like Luffy or Zoro get increased movement and attack speed for a limited time, allowing them to deal more damage overall until the buff subsides.
Speed types like Sanji, meanwhile, get a larger increase to their movement speed as well as a buff to their Dash’s speed and power. They’ll likewise be able to Dash without expending as much stamina, allowing them to flit across battlefields more quickly to reach objectives faster than they normally could.
How to Equip Full Force Burst Moves
Of course, these are all moot points if you don’t have a Full Force Burst move equipped to your suite of Special Attacks in One Piece Pirate Warriors 4.
To ensure you have such a move equipped, select any mission and then proceed to the menu that appears right before the mission starts. Here, you’ll have the option to set the Special Attacks and Special Moves for whichever character you’re playing as.
Select whichever Special Attack slot you wish, and then swap in a Full Force Burst move. They’ll be the ones which show a character flexing, and most every character should have one available as soon as they’re unlocked.
