Improve the Shiver Skill
The first thing you’re going to need to do is to improve your Shiver skill, which allows you to connect the goings-on of the city. By improving this, the Detective will be able to talk his way through situations easier.
There are a number of different ways to improve this, ranging from changing clothing to completing certain quests lines. Each one of these that you do will better the chance you have when it comes to encounters that use Shiver.
How to Find Ruby in Disco Elysium
Once you feel your Shiver is high enough, head to the marshy area beyond the fishing village that is known as Land’s End. Go to the Feld building and locate the mural.
This mural is surrounded by brick and can be found next to the boardwalk. Check inside of it and there will be two possible checks to pass: Savoir Faire or Physical Instrument.
For the Savior Faire, you’ll shoot up a ladder to the roof. The other check opens the pipe by the boardwalk, letting you into the building.
Either way, go into the building and you can find Ruby in the basement.
Now that you’ve found her, what you do from here is entirely up to you. The only thing we’d recommend is that you save before heading in to save her, as it’ll mean the end of a lot of quest lines if you don’t.
