As a result, getting the Legs is up to RNG, and can take you a single attempt or hours of work depending on your luck.

Fortunately, your time and effort will be well rewarded.
When you have Destiny 2’s Bombardiers Exotic Leggings equipped, you’ll leave behind an explosive every time you dodge. After a short delay, it will detonate, dealing damage to any enemies you left behind.
This can be useful for thinning out a crowd of enemies that are trying to group up on you, or for dissuading more powerful enemies from closing the distance between you and them.
Likewise, after you’ve gotten the hang of using it, you can use the explosive more offensively, and pair it with your regular attacks to dispatch enemies more quickly.
