Pokemon trainers should be more than familiar with the evolution mechanic, which has been around since the very first Pokemon games of the 1990s. Game Freak’s latest iteration of the series doesn’t really break from tradition. That being said, not all Pokemon evolve in the same way, so here’s how to get Solosis and Evolve it into Duosion and Reuniclu in Pokemon Sword & Shield if you’re unsure.

Where to Catch a Solosis
The first thing to know about Solosis is that it is a Pokemon Shield exclusive. If you have the Sword edition of the game you will not be able to catch a Solosis in the wild. Instead, you’ll have to trade with another player who has caught it in the Shield version of the game.

Now, for those of you that have Shield, you’ll want to head to the Giant’s Cap overworld Wild Area during heavy fog. This will give you the best possible chance of a Solosis spawn.
Evolving to Duosion
Once you have your Solosis it will evolve into Duosion once it has reached level 37.
All Pokemon level-up after being used in battle, but you can always use experience candy to level them more quickly. Candy comes in different sizes that each give a different XP boost, which is as follows:
- XL – 30000
- L – 10000
- M – 3000
- S – 800
- XS – 100
Rare Candy immediately boosts your Pokemon to level 100.
Duosion can also be caught in the Dusty Bowl area of the map during heavy fog, but again, it only spawn for those with Pokemon Shield.
Evolving to Reuniclu
Just as in the case of the previous evolution, Duosion will also evolve to Reuniclu naturally once it has hit a certain level. That level is 42.
And that’s really all there is to it — no fancy items or necessary trading required.
You should also note that Reuniclu can be caught from the Lake of Outrage overworld area in heavy fog, though it is quite a rare spawn.
