Supereffective Week
Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. PST — Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. PST

Pokemon that are strong in battle against Team Go Rocket trainers will be appearing more often in the wild, in raids, and in field research. This is likely to prepare players for upcoming tasks in the Looming in the Shadows special research. Shiny Tentacool will also make its debut.

Other bonuses during Supereffective Week include:

  • 2× Stardust from Trainer Battles
  • More Potions and Revives from PokéStops
  • Guaranteed Charged TM from three-star raids

Terrakion charges into five-star raids
Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. PST — Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. PST

Terrakion will begin appearing in five-star raids, replacing Cobalion. This will be the first time you can catch this Rock- and Fighting-type legendary in Pokemon Go.

Friend Fest
Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. PST — Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. PST

This will be the very first Friend Fest in Pokemon Go. Family-themed Pokemon (such as both gender Nidoran and their evolutions) will be appearing more often in the wild and in field research.

Other bonuses during Friend Fest include:

  • 1/2 Stardust trade cost
  • You can make two special trades per day
  • Attack boost when you raid with friends

Besides these three events, there are a few other November events in Pokemon Go to participate in.

Looming in the Shadows special research is currently ongoing, which you can find our guide for here. Be sure to check out our tips for countering Cobalion before it leaves five-star raids on Nov. 26. Finally, don’t forget about the Community Day featuring Chimchar on Nov. 16.
