As you progress through the story of Death Stranding, you’ll get well-acquainted with all the eccentric characters that inhabit this world. This includes Mama, who will be in charge of assigning you major orders during a key moment of the story. Here’s where to find Mama’s Lab in Death Stranding.
Where to Find Mama’s Lab in Death Stranding
After clearing episode 4, you’ll be tasked with meeting Mama in person by heading over to her Lab. The location should already be marked on your map, but just in case you’re having trouble finding it, we’ve included a screenshot down below to give you a better idea of where it is:
Mama’s Lab is located between South Knot City and the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City. She’s just west of the Junk Dealer, and is located in a biome that experiences a lot of frequent timefall.
Because of that, you’ll want to keep a PCC on you just in case you need to build a Timefall Shelter, or bring along some container repair sprays to repair any cargo you might be carrying at the moment.
Along the way, you’ll also pass some ruins that are home to a bunch of BTs. You should be able to sneak past them fairly easily; if not, be sure to stock up on your grenades and other anti-BT weapons just in case of an emergency.
You’ll need to return to Mama’s Lab a couple of times during this episode, so it’s best to get acquainted with the biome quickly, and contribute any spare materials you have on hand to nearby road reconstructions.
You’ll need to go to the Lab in episode 5, and it’s located between South Knot City and the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City.
