Borderlands 3: How to Get Good Juju

Both Borderlands 3 and Destiny 2 are pretty similar in that their gameplay loops revolve around shooting a bunch of enemies in an effort to get better loot and weapons. It’s no surprise, then, that Borderlands 3 would feature Easter eggs and callbacks to Bungie’s game. Here’s how to get Good Juju in Borderlands 3.

First things first, you need to download the latest update for the game, which introduces the Maliwan Takedown as well as the fourth Mayhem tier. Once you’ve installed the latest update, simply head to Sanctuary and interact with the Mayhem pedestal, and choose the fourth tier.

It’s highly recommended that you beat the game and reach the level cap before going for Mayhem 4. This tier increases the enemy health pool and damage done, but only has one positive modifier for both the player and enemy AI.

Farm the Rampager

After you’ve activated Mayhem 4, you’re now ready to go get the Good Juju. This weapon can only be obtained as a drop from the Rampager boss with Mayhem 4 activated.

The boss can be found guarding the Vault on Promethea, and is pretty easy to beat as long as you keep your distance. You’ll just want to farm the Rampager repeatedly until you get the Good Juju from him.

As always, since weapon stats in Borderlands 3 are pretty much randomized, we can’t tell you exactly how powerful the gun will be as it scales to your level. However, just like the Bad Juju Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2, the Good Juju is an assault rifle that reloads the clip when you get a kill.

To recap, here’s how to get Good Juju in Borderlands 3:

  1. Beat the game and activate Mayhem 4 on Sanctuary.

  2. Head to Promethea and farm the Rampager until it drops the weapon.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Good Juju in Borderlands 3. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
