While Fortnite’s Out of Time challenges have been taking place, players have been busy checking out various Visitor Recordings. It now turns out that players can get themselves a white variant of the Scientist skin if they complete a few bits and pieces and visit a particular location on the map. Here’s how to get the white Scientist skin in Fortnite.
Getting the Fortnite White Scientist Skin
Before you can get the white Scientist skin, you’ll, of course, need to make sure you’ve got the Scientist skin first.
Completing Meteoric Rise Mission to Get Scientist Skin
This can be done by completing the ‘Meteoric Rise’ Mission which is currently still live in the game for players to complete.
Upon completing these, you’ll then unlock the Scientist outfit. Onto the next step, the Visitor Recordings.
Finding the Visitor Recording Locations
As part of the Out of Time mission, players can now seek out six different visitor recordings scattered across the map. They’re all in named locations, and are actually fairly easy to track down, as long as you know where you’re going.

- Floating Island – In the back of the yellow truck on the northwest section of the island.
- Retail Row – Head to the book store on the east side of Retail Row. Run up the stairs to find the visitor recording waiting at the top.
- Moisty Palms – On the top of the hotel, on the white wall running down the center of the roof.
- Greasy Grove – Head inside the Durr Burger restaurant’s front doors and go to the right of the counters and cash registers. You’ll find a table between two red benches. The visitor recording is on the top.
- Starry Suburbs – Head to the red building in the center of Starry Suburbs. Run up the stairs to the second floor and take the door immediately on your right. The visitor recording is on the bed in this room.
- Gotham City – In the northwest section of Gotham City you’ll find a movie theater. The final visitor recording is just outside of this in the middle of the street.
Getting the Fortnite White Scientist at the Rocket Warehouse
When you’ve got all of the visitor recordings, you’ll then unlock the ability to get the white variant of the Scientist outfit. To do this, you’ll need to head to Dusty Depot and go to the rocket warehouse right in the north of the named location.
All you now need to do is head to the little computer console terminal here against the north wall shown in the screenshot below and interact with it. You’ll get one final little bit of lore about the visitor and the Seven. Once you’ve backed out of the game or are eliminated, you’ll be given the White Scientist in Fortnite.
