How to Use the Flowchart in AI Somnium Files

Just like in Virtue’s Last Reward, Zero Time Dilemma, and the enhanced version of 999, AI Somnium Files features a Flowchart system that makes it extremely easy for players to jump between different points in time.

To access and use the Flowchart, just press Square to open up the menu, then select the Flowchart option.

This will give you a visual guide of how the story’s been progressing so far, and you can even see the important points where the narrative branches off into different paths.

To jump back to any chapter you’ve previously completed, just select it from the Flowchart, and press the X button to jump back to it. You can do this for any of the Mental Lock puzzles or investigation sequences. Because of this, you don’t really have to worry about saving your game before key moments in the story since the Flowchart will always allow you to return at any time to try things out a different way.

To summarize, here’s how to use the feature:

  1. Press square to open the menu

  2. Select the Flowchart option

  3. Choose the chapter you want to revisit and press the X button to jump back to it

That’s all you need to know about how to use the Flowchart feature in AI Somnium Files. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
