TNT is pretty easy to find in Sniper Elite 4. You won’t have access to it from the very start of the game, but looting enemies you take out will regularly help you stock up again. Then, it’s simply a case of using them.

Using TNT in Sniper Elite 4

The first thing that you need to do is select it from the weapon/item wheel by holding L1 if you’re on PS4 (LB if you’re on Xbox One) and using the right thumbstick to highlight it. The TNT will be around the 7 o’clock mark on the wheel.

You can then either place the TNT on the ground by pressing R1/RB, or aim and throw it by holding and releasing R1 once you’ve aimed in the right place.

You can also choose between the two TNT types by pressing R1 with the icon highlighted on the weapon wheel. One is the standard type that need to be damaged to be activated, while the other is set by a timer.

For the former, basic option, you need to shoot it to blow it up. A couple of rounds should do the trick, but it’s best to use suppressed ammo to do so without alerting people who aren’t in the blast radius to your position.

Unfortunately, the stone and flint that could be used to light small fires and set off TNT in previous Sniper Elite games isn’t in 4, so you have to resort to more basic methods of creating the explosions.

That’s everything you need to know about how to use TNT in Sniper Elite 4. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
