One of the few gameplay elements you can choose for yourself in the roguelike title, weapons act as a means of dealing melee damage and enhancing your character with passive abilities.

Though none of these abilities are deciding factors on whether you’ll win a run on their face, they can help you out of situations that would otherwise hinder or halt your run without a helping hand.

For this reason, players like yourself would understandably want to flesh out their arsenal with as many options as possible. Fortunately, we’ve done the leg work and figured out the best ways to get more weapons in RAD.

What You Need to Do to Get New Weapons in RAD

At its core, RAD has one way for you to obtain new weapons; that being to raise your rank.

Acting as a means of recording your progress and the successes of all of your collective runs, your rank increases with every enemy you kill, every streak of enemies you kill in succession and other parameters provided by the game after a run is completed.

This, of course, means that completed runs or runs that last longer will help you obtain weapons faster. As such, you should do your best to complete runs, or at the very least defeat as many enemies as possible, if you want to unlock new weapons.

Do this, and you’ll have plenty of new additions to your armory before you know it.

In short, to get new weapons in RAD, you need to:

  1. Complete Runs and Kill Enemies

You need to raise your rank in the game to get new weapons, and you do that by completing runs and killing enemies.

Hopefully this cleared up how to get new weapons in RAD. It is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch and PC.
