Is Control on Game Pass?

The sad news is, no, Control isn’t on Xbox Game Pass at the time of writing. Despite having developed exclusive games for Xbox in the pass, Remedy has opted to make Control a multi-platform game.

This means that it wasn’t guaranteed to be on Game Pass on day one, unlike other first-party Microsoft and Xbox titles.

That being said, though, this doesn’t mean that Control won’t eventually come over to Game Pass in the future. Taking a look at the current catalogue, there are tons of multi-platform games from third-party developed, even including the relative Metro Exodus.

So there’s no reason why Remedy’s latest title couldn’t come to Microsoft’s subscription service eventually.

In the meantime, you’ll have to make do with actually purchasing the game either physically or through your digital storefront of choice. Since the game is multi-platform, this means you can choose to play it on either PS4, Xbox One, or PC.

If things change and the game gets added to the subscription service in the future, we’ll update this article accordingly to let you know.

That’s all you need to know about whether Control is on Xbox Game Pass. Be sure to check our Control guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
